Developments in urban air mobility are progressing at pace, with cargo drone flights already operating in China and Africa.

In October, a collaboration between German air taxi manufacturer Volocopter and UK-based ground infrastructure developer, Skyports, saw the world’s first passenger air taxi vertiport (or take-off and landing station) launch in Singapore.

But what about the landscape for urban air mobility in London? Could we see drone technology and air taxis taking to the skies in the near future?
